Alberto José Lança de Sá e Mello

Alberto José Lança de Sá e Mello is an Associate Professor at the Higher Institute of Management and a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Law of Lusófona University. He holds a Law degree (1981), Master’s (1989), and PhD in Law (2007) from the University of Lisbon.

His research focuses on Law, with emphasis on civil law, labor law, corporate law, copyright law, collective bargaining, and internet law. He has taught 53 postgraduate, master's, and doctoral courses and has extensive professional experience as a lawyer since 1983, specializing in civil, labor, business, and copyright law. He has also served as a legal consultant for companies, business associations, and the Portuguese Confederation of Commerce and Services since 1984.

He has published 49 peer-reviewed articles, 20 book chapters, and 22 books. His work includes 33 technical productions and participation in 65 national and international events as a keynote speaker. He has collaborated with 23 co-authors on scientific papers.
