Albert Shih is a Professor in both the Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering departments at the University of Michigan, where he has been since 2003. He is also a Faculty Member at the Institute of Gerontology. Shih leads the Biomedical Manufacturing and Design Lab (BMDL), focusing on advancing healthcare through manufacturing technologies.
