Albert Dongo

A. (Albert) Dongo is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Accounting at the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), Erasmus University Rotterdam. His research focuses on management accounting, corporate transparency, and accountability, addressing how accounting information influences decision-making in both external capital markets and internal organizational governance. He holds a Master’s degree in International Management from RSM.

Research interests include exploring the role of accounting information in fostering corporate transparency, preventing financial scandals, and mitigating managerial opportunism. He employs archival (quantitative) and experimental methods to analyze these themes.

Supervised by Prof. Marcel van Rinsum (promotor) and Dr. Stephan Kramer (co-promotor), his PhD project emphasizes training in advanced econometric techniques and the development of publishable research in high-impact journals. His work aligns with the Erasmus Accounting Research Group.
