Albert C. Lin is the Martin Luther King Jr. Professor of Law and Co-Director of the Environmental Law Center at the University of California, Davis School of Law (King Hall). His expertise spans environmental and natural resources law, with a focus on climate policy, geoengineering governance, and emerging technologies. He previously served as a trial attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Environment and Natural Resources Division and clerked for federal appellate judges Merrick Garland and James Browning.
Lin holds a J.D. from UC Berkeley (1996), an M.P.P. from Harvard University (1995), and a B.S. in Biology from Emory University (1992).
