Albert Attia

Albert Attia, MD is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center with a secondary appointment in the Department of Neurosurgery. He completed his undergraduate and medical degrees at Vanderbilt University and residency in Radiation Oncology at Wake Forest University, where he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Attia specializes in brain and lung cancer treatment, focusing on clinical trial development as Principal Investigator and image-guided radiation research through collaborations with the School of Engineering and Vanderbilt University Institute of Imaging Science. His work spans radiosurgery program leadership and educational program development as Radiation Oncology Residency Program Director.

Professional memberships include the American Society of Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), Society of Neuro-Oncology (SNO), and North American Skull Base Society (NASBS). Research contributions include peer-reviewed manuscripts and international presentations in neuro-oncology and radiation oncology.
