Alba Jano

Alba Jano is a Researcher at the Chair of Communication Networks (Prof. Wolfgang Kellerer) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). She holds an M.Sc. in Communications Engineering from TUM (2020) and a B.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Tirana (2017). Her research focuses on wireless network resource management for Industrial IoT, including energy-efficient protocols, radio resource allocation, and digital twin applications. She contributes to projects like the Munich 5G Research Hub Testbed and the 6G Future Lab Bavaria.

Her work spans topics such as network parameter configuration for IoT devices (Digiot), haptic feedback in 5G robotics, and energy modeling in 5G networks. She collaborates on simulations (nextGSIM) for beyond 5G networks and has published in IEEE Transactions and major conferences. Jano is involved in lab activities at the FlexComNetsLab and the 6G Testbed (6G-IP Lab), advancing network slicing and resource management techniques.
