Alba Hernandez Bonilla is a Professor in the Department of Genetics and Microbiology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). She leads research in nanotoxicology, focusing on the health impacts of micro- and nanoplastics, genotoxicity, and environmental contaminants.
