Alan Sandry

Dr. Alan Sandry is Senior Lecturer at Swansea University's Morgan Academy within the School of Management. His research examines evolving political and social identities in Europe, educational innovation for economic development, and societal responses to global challenges.

Sandry's scholarly work analyzes ideological frameworks, territorial politics, and revolutionary movements. He maintains extensive collaborations with European institutions including the European Parliament and national assemblies across the UK.

As Vice President of the Coppieters Foundation, he organizes annual Brussels Summer Schools on pan-European issues. Sandry has served as visiting lecturer at universities in France, Germany, Spain, and Portugal.

Publications include analyses of devolution in the UK and political ideology, along with contributions to Independent on Sunday, Financial Times, and New Statesman. He authored the play 'From Linz to Langland' based on Wittgenstein's Swansea experiences.
