Dr. Alan Miller is a Lecturer in the School of Computer Science at the University of St Andrews, specializing in digital heritage and immersive technologies. His research focuses on virtual museums, cultural preservation, and climate action through innovative digital platforms. He holds a PhD and MSc from the University of Glasgow and a BA from the University of York. Miller advises four PhD students and has contributed to projects funded by Innovate UK and the EPSRC. His notable works include the Virtual Museum Infrastructure and the Virtual Orkney North Isles exhibit.
