Alan Lambowitz is a distinguished Professor of Molecular Biosciences at the University of Texas at Austin, holding the prestigious Mr. and Mrs. A. Frank Smith, Jr. Regents Chair in Molecular Biology. Since 1997, he has been a key faculty member in the Department of Molecular Biosciences within the College of Natural Sciences.
