Alan Kennedy is a Teaching Professor of Public Policy at William & Mary. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado Denver School of Public Affairs, an M.A. and J.D. from William & Mary, and a B.A. from Yale University. Prof. Kennedy serves in the U.S. Army Reserve as a Judge Advocate General and has been a presidential elector in 2020 and 2024. His expertise focuses on gun policy, free speech, civil rights, and federalism.
