Alain Beauclair

Dr. Alain Beauclair is an Associate Professor in the Department of Humanities at MacEwan University's Faculty of Arts and Science. He holds a PhD from the University of Oregon (2008), an MA from the University of Toronto (2002), and a BA from the University of Alberta (2001). Since joining MacEwan University in 2011, he has specialized in ethics, pragmatism, and hermeneutics, with a particular focus on John Dewey's philosophy and its intersections with film studies, bioethics, and pedagogy.
