Akshay Gadre

Akshay Gadre is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Washington. He leads the Networking and Emerging Wireless Technologies (NEWT) Lab, which focuses on advancing wireless communication and sensing capabilities for emerging domains such as satellite IoT, agriculture, underwater systems, and smart cities. His research emphasizes security, privacy, and scalable solutions for power-constrained environments.
