Aisling Tuite is a Lecturer in the Department of Management and Organisation at South East Technological University's School of Business. She holds affiliations with the AIB Centre for Finance and Business Research and contributes to interdisciplinary research on labour markets, digital transformation, and social policy. Her work bridges sociology, organisational studies, and technology studies through ethnographic and narrative methods.
Educated at SETU, she holds a PhD in Organisational Culture and Change (2016), M.Sc. in Business Innovation (2012), and degrees in Sociology/Italian (2011) and Engineering (1993–1995). Her research focuses on unemployment experiences, digital public services, and career trajectories in banking and pharmaceutical industries.
Recent projects include HECAT (€3.5M EU Horizon 2020) and PEStech (€173,000 SFI), exploring ethical digital tools for labour markets. She has supervised 4 PhD students and contributed to policy initiatives like the Public Service AI Trust Framework launch.
Awards include the 2014 Best Development Paper Prize for work on organisational change. Active in academic leadership, she organises national conferences on digital education and qualitative research methods.
