Aimée A. Kane

Dr. Aimée A. Kane is the William and Helen Lyons Faculty Fellow in Management and an Associate Professor at Duquesne University's Palumbo-Donahue School of Business. Her research focuses on group processes, boundary spanning, and knowledge transfer, emphasizing collaboration across social, organizational, and technological boundaries. She employs methodologies like experimental design, automated text analysis, and social network analysis.

Education: Ph.D. and M.S. in Organizational Behavior and Theory from Carnegie Mellon University, B.A. in Spanish from Duke University. She previously taught at NYU Stern School of Business and worked at Goldman Sachs.

Teaching: Courses include Management and Organizational Behavior, Leadership and Motivation for Executives. Recognized with Dean’s Awards for Excellence in Teaching (2022–2023, 2020–2021) and Research (2023, 2017).

Awards: 2023 Group Dynamics Most Valuable Paper Award, 2019 Small Group Research Best Article Award, and multiple fellowships.

Grants: Co-PI on Army Research Office projects on human-agent teaming in intelligence analysis. Principal Investigator for grants on team receptivity and knowledge transfer.
