Aimee Williamson, PhD, is the Chair and Professor in the Department of Public Service and Healthcare Administration at Suffolk University. Her research focuses on public management, public-private collaboration, administrative reform, and pedagogical strategies in higher education. She holds a PhD from the University of Colorado Denver, an MPA from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, and a BA from the University of Notre Dame.
Williamson’s practical experience includes roles in criminal justice reform and child advocacy, such as founding the Gateway Through the Rockies Program (a work-release initiative) and serving as Research Analyst at the Colorado Children’s Campaign. At Suffolk, she teaches courses like PAD201: Social Change and PAD711: Foundations of Public Administration and Service.
