Dr. Ailsa Craig is a full-time Professor in the Department of Sociology at Memorial University of Newfoundland. A cultural sociologist with expertise in gender and sexual diversity, inequality, and cultural economies, Dr. Craig has received multiple awards for her academic and activist work, including the Dean's Award for outstanding teaching at NYU and recognition as a 'Vagina Warrior' for gender-based violence advocacy.
