Dr. Ahmed M. A. Sayed is a Senior Lecturer (equivalent to Associate Professor) and Director of the MSc Big Data Science Programme at Queen Mary University of London's School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science. He leads the SAYED Systems Group and focuses on distributed systems, federated learning, edge computing, and network optimization. His research bridges system design and machine learning, emphasizing scalability and efficiency.
