Ahmed Hashemy

Ahmed Hashemy is a senior researcher at the Future Center for Advanced Research and Studies (FARAS) and a Global Executive Master participant at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence. He is an Egyptian national with over 11 years of experience in policy-oriented research within Egyptian ministries, think tanks, and regional organizations such as the League of Arab States and the Community of Sahel-Saharan States.

• Master's degree in Euro-Mediterranean Studies (Cairo University, Egypt)

Research Interests: Ahmed's work focuses on the development-security nexus in the Middle East, peace and conflict dynamics, and Euro-Mediterranean relations. His expertise also spans European Union (EU) policy, Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regional studies, and Sub-Saharan Africa governance frameworks.
