Ahmad El Sayed

Ahmad El Sayed is a Ph.D. candidate and Researcher at Ozyeğin University's Faculty of Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He serves as a Teaching Assistant for courses such as optimization for power engineers, fundamentals of power systems, and energy economics and policy.

Education:

• B.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Balamand, Lebanon (2014)
• M.Sc. in Energy Systems, Operation, and Technology from Bahçeşehir University (2017)

Research Interests: His work focuses on Distributed Energy Resources (DER), Virtual Power Plants (VPP), Operations Research/Business Research, Renewable Energy, Energy Storage, and Electricity Markets. He is involved in energy system planning and operations research, with prior experience as an energy project engineer and consultant.
