Agusti Lledos Falco

Agusti Lledos Falco is an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He has held academic positions since 1980, including Profesor Titular Universitario (1987-1994). His research focuses on theoretical and computational chemistry, catalysis, and material science. Key areas include density functional theory studies, hydrogen transfer mechanisms, and organic/inorganic hybrid materials.

Education: PhD in Chemical Sciences (UAB, 1984), Licenciatura (UAB, 1980), and earlier degrees in Chemistry (UAB, 1978).

Research interests span computational modeling of catalytic processes, design of molecular catalysts, and photoresponsive materials. Recent work includes palladium-catalyzed reactions, carbene complexes, and energy materials for solar cells.

Active in collaborative research projects funded by national and EU grants since 1987, focusing on molecular catalysis, supramolecular chemistry, and bio-inspired systems. Leads the Computational BioNanoCat research group.
