Agnieszka Jaworowicz-Rudolf

Agnieszka Jaworowicz-Rudolf serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Administrative Law and Administrative Science within the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Lodz. She currently holds the position of Dean's Representative for the Administration program at the University of Lodz Branch in Tomaszów Mazowiecki, where she has been employed since October 2020. Previously, she was an academic teacher at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Lodz from 2002 to 2018, establishing a long-standing affiliation with the institution.

Her academic journey began with graduation from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Lodz, followed by doctoral studies (1997-2002) where she completed her dissertation titled "Obowiązek ochrony środowiska a wolność działalności gospodarczej" (The Duty of Environmental Protection and Business Freedom) under the supervision of Professor M. Górski.

Dr. Jaworowicz-Rudolf's scholarly work demonstrates a consistent focus on the intersection of administrative procedures and environmental governance. Her recent publications reveal evolving expertise from fundamental environmental protection principles to increasingly sophisticated analyses of local government implementation of environmental policies, particularly regarding air quality management and nature conservation within spatial planning frameworks. She has developed a specialized niche in analyzing administrative liability mechanisms within environmental law, with particular attention to practical implementation challenges faced by local authorities.

Her professional activities extend beyond academia through numerous collaborations with governmental institutions. She has served as an expert for the National Institute of Local Government since 2018, contributed to the Anti-Smog Team appointed by the Marshal of the Łódź Voivodeship in 2017, and provided legal consultations for "Gazeta Wyborcza" in 2018. She has also participated in EU-funded projects including "Dobre prawo - sprawne rządzenie" (2013-2015) where she conducted trainings for local government employees on improving the quality of local law and administrative decisions.

As an educator, she conducts comprehensive teaching activities including lectures, exercises, conversation classes, and diploma seminars. She serves as a supervisor for student professional internships in the Administration major and participates in curriculum development for both part-time first and second cycle studies. Additionally, she has initiated and coordinated the educational project "University of Children and Youth" in cooperation with Tomaszów Mazowiecki authorities and collaborates with the Business Council at the University of Lodz Branch.
