About
Agnes MONTILLET is a University Professor at the University of Nantes, statutorily attached to the IUT of Saint-Nazaire. She also teaches at Polytech Nantes. She holds a doctorate from École Centrale de Nantes and University of Nantes (1992) and an HDR (2003), with interdisciplinary training in microbiology, biochemistry, chemistry, and process engineering.
Her research within the MAPS2 team focuses on:
- Flows/transfers in porous media and miniaturized systems (milli/microchannels)
- Liquid/liquid and gas-liquid two-phase flows
- Development of microsystems for continuous production of industrial foams/emulsions
Teaching responsibilities span two departments:
- IUT Saint-Nazaire (Chemical Engineering – Process Engineering): Balances, Chemical Reactors/Bioreactors, Enzyme Kinetics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Agitation/Mixing
- Polytech Nantes (Process Engineering and Bioprocesses): Chemical Kinetics, Enzyme Kinetics
