Agnes Luo is a Research Fellow at the National Institute of Drug Abuse, NIH, with prior postdoctoral experience at the same institution. She holds a PhD in Molecular Toxicology from the University of Rochester and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology from Nanjing University.
Research Interests: Molecular Genetics, Neuroinflammation, Neuroprotection and Regeneration, Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine, and Animal Models of Neurological Diseases. Her work focuses on neurodegenerative diseases, microglial functions, and therapeutic interventions for stroke and traumatic brain injury.
Publication Trends: Recent articles explore microglia ablation models, Sonic Hedgehog signaling in neurogenesis, and p53's role in neurodegeneration. Key themes include neuroinflammatory mechanisms, neuroregenerative strategies, and molecular targets for neuroprotection.
