Dr. Agathe Rouaix is a Lecturer in the Department of Economics at the Aberdeen Business School, University of Aberdeen. She joined the department in summer 2013 and is currently accepting PhD students for supervision.
Dr. Rouaix holds an MSc in Agricultural and Environmental Economics from the University of Montpellier and Supagro Montpellier, and a PhD in Economics from the University of Montpellier.
Her primary research focuses on Experimental Economics, Energy Economics, and Environmental Economics. Her work explores the intersection of behavioral economics with energy market design and environmental policy through experimental methodologies, investigating how individuals and institutions make decisions regarding public goods, resource allocation, and energy systems.
Dr. Rouaix's publication record demonstrates consistent focus on experimental approaches to economic questions, particularly those related to energy markets, public goods provision, and income redistribution mechanisms.
