Agata Kołakowska

Dr. Agata Kołakowska serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Intelligent Interactive Systems within the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics at Gdańsk University of Technology. Her research focuses on developing innovative solutions for data collection and processing in challenging environments, particularly in rural IoT ecosystems.

Her primary research interests center around anomaly detection in sensor data, time series analysis, and edge computing solutions for resource-constrained devices. She specializes in implementing artificial neural networks on edge devices with limited computational capabilities and power supply, particularly in scenarios involving Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) as nomadic gateways for data collection in areas with poor telecommunications infrastructure.
