Afsana Tabibi

Afsana Tabibi, Ph.D. (ABD), is a Lecturer in the Department of Sociology at Kwantlen Polytechnic University's Surrey Campus. She immigrated to Canada as an Afghan refugee and her lived experiences shape her academic focus on migration, immigration, resettlement, and refugee studies. She has taught post-secondary sociology courses since 2009.
