Adwait Nadkarni is the Class of 1953 Associate Professor of Computer Science at William & Mary, leading the Secure Platforms Lab (SPL) and directing the W&M Cybersecurity Center. His research focuses on securing emerging platforms like smartphones and smart homes by evaluating security analysis tools and understanding developer/user expectations. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. from North Carolina State University (under Prof. William Enck) and a B.E. from the University of Mumbai.
