Adrienne Burk is a retired Senior Lecturer in Sociology and Anthropology at Simon Fraser University's Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. She holds a PhD in Geography from Simon Fraser University and a BA in Cross-cultural Communications from Antioch University. Her interdisciplinary research examines how public spaces challenge dominant social narratives and explores boundaries/initiations in material and discursive domains.
