Adrienne Betz

Adrienne Betz is a Professor of Psychology and Director of the Behavioral Neuroscience Program at Quinnipiac University, with an affiliate appointment in the Department of Medical Sciences. She joined Quinnipiac in 2009 after postdoctoral work at Yale University's Ribicoff Laboratory of Molecular Psychiatry.

• Education: BA, BS, MA, and PhD in Psychology/Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of Connecticut.

Her research explores molecular, cellular, and behavioral neurobiology related to stress and inflammation. She has secured funding from the NARSAD Young Investigator Award and contributes to organizations like the Society for Neuroscience and Faculty for Undergraduate Neuroscience.

Dr. Betz organizes the annual NEURON conference at Quinnipiac and teaches courses such as Physiological Psychology, Drugs Brain and Behavior, and Behavioral Neuroscience Research Methods.
