Adrien de Hauteclocque serves as a Visiting Senior Fellow in Practice at the LSE Law School and holds a Part-time Professor role at the Florence School of Regulation (European University Institute). He concurrently acts as Head of Cabinet to the President of the General Court of the European Union and advises the French Competition Authority within the International Competition Network (ICN). His academic affiliations further include associated researcher roles at Chaire Gouvernance et Régulation (Université Paris-Dauphine) and teaching commitments at HEC Paris.
Dr de Hauteclocque's research focuses on EU competition law, state aid regulation, regulatory policy in network industries, and energy law. He co-founded the EU Energy Union Law initiative at the Florence School of Regulation and actively contributes to the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER) Training Advisory Board. His professional journey includes prior academic roles at the University of Manchester and European University Institute, alongside extensive international conference speaking engagements.
Educationally, he holds a PhD in Law from the University of Manchester (UK), an MSc in Management from EM Lyon (France), and an MSc in Economic Policy from Strathclyde University (UK).
