Adrianne Frech, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Population Health at the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, Ohio University. Her research focuses on the interplay between gender, work, family structures, and health, with a specific emphasis on midlife health trajectories (ages 40-50). She holds affiliations with the Population Research Institute (PRI), supported by NIH grant P2CHD041025 and Pennsylvania State University's Social Science Research Institute.
Dr. Frech's work bridges sociology and public health, examining how socioeconomic factors and life-course transitions influence health outcomes. Her current research investigates how workplace policies, caregiving responsibilities, and gender roles shape physical and mental health in middle age. She collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to advance understanding of health disparities and sustainable interventions.
