Adrian Zicari

Adrian Zicari is an Associate Professor at the Accounting and Management Control Department of ESSEC Business School, Paris. He serves as Academic Director of the Council on Business & Society (CoBS) and previously held roles including Teaching Professor and Academic Director. Born in Argentina, he earned a Ph.D. in Management from Universidad Nacional de Rosario. His research focuses on sustainability measurement, value-added statements, and corporate social responsibility (CSR). Zicari has authored over 50 journal articles, books, and book chapters, with publications in journals like Journal of Business Ethics and British Food Journal. He has received awards such as the 2024 Science & Society Award and multiple pedagogical innovation prizes. His work emphasizes integrating sustainability into business practices and management control systems.
