Adrian Rowlands

Adrian Rowlands is an Oboe Tutor at the University of West London and a freelance orchestral, chamber, and studio session player. He has performed as guest principal with renowned orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and English Chamber Orchestra, and currently teaches at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

• Education: Full-time studies at Dartington College of Arts, followed by a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music.

His research and teaching interests focus on music performance, oboe and cor anglais studies, chamber music, and community education initiatives. His career spans both professional orchestral performance and mentorship in academic and community settings.
