Adrian Jaeggi

Adrian Jaeggi is an Assistant Professor at Emory University, specializing in biological anthropology with a focus on the evolution of human behavior. He is transitioning to the University of Zurich's Institute for Evolutionary Medicine as an Assistant Professor starting January 2019. His work combines field research with primates (orangutans, baboons, chimpanzees, bonobos) and human populations (e.g., Tsimane’ forager-horticulturalists in Bolivia) to explore cooperation, social behavior, and ecological influences on behavior.

• Behavioral ecology frameworks to analyze optimal behavior under socio-ecological conditions
• Phylogenetic comparative methods and meta-analyses for synthesizing behavioral data
• Intersections between ecology, sociality, and health
