Dr. Adrian Hernandez serves as Executive Director of the Duke Clinical Research Institute and Vice Dean of the Duke University School of Medicine. A board-certified cardiologist, he leads strategic direction for clinical research programs and oversees the Duke Institute for Health Innovation. Hernandez joined Duke faculty in 2004 and has held progressive leadership positions including Vice Dean for Clinical Research from 2017-2020.
