Adrian Freakley

Adrian Freakley is a Lecturer at Staffordshire University's College of Health, Education, Policing and Sciences. Prior to joining the university in March 2021, he worked for West Midlands Police, focusing on project management, operational and policy transformation, and later leading initial officer training program development. His work adapts online and practical content to align with academic programs.

He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher and Professional Education from Staffordshire University. Professional recognitions include Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Whatuni Student Choice Awards 2023 for Facilities and Social Inclusion.

His research interests revolve around policing processes, educational technology in training, and policy development. He has contributed to transforming initial officer training curricula to integrate modern academic frameworks.
