Adrian Bell is a Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Utah. His research focuses on cultural adaptations, ethnographic fieldwork, and mathematical/statistical modeling to explore human success through conformity to social norms, group identity, and responses to ecological challenges. He conducts fieldwork in the Kingdom of Tonga and among its diaspora to analyze cultural variation and broader anthropological questions.
