About
Adolfo Grushin leads the Theory of Topological Matter group at Institut Néel, CNRS. His ERC-funded research explores topological phenomena in amorphous systems, chiral spin liquids, and quantum anomalies. Pioneering work includes discovering topological signatures in disordered materials and engineering chiral effects in Weyl semimetals.
Recent breakthroughs demonstrate spin-momentum locking in amorphous bismuth selenide and emergent chiral spin liquids in polycrystalline materials. Current projects investigate electronic properties of aperiodic tilings and quantum Hall effects in non-crystalline systems.
