Adnan Rashid is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering at Polytechnic University of Bari. He holds a Ph.D. in Telecommunication and Telematics from the University of Florence and Master's/Bachelor's degrees in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Pakistani institutions.
His research focuses on:

- Security in low-power lossy networks (LLN)

- Standardization of IPv6 performance metrics
