Aditya Putranto

Dr. Aditya Putranto is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney. He holds a Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and is a Chartered Engineer (CEng MIChemE) with the Institution of Chemical Engineers. His expertise spans sustainability analysis, sustainable food processing, and chemical engineering education innovation.

Teaching & Leadership: He leads curriculum design initiatives focused on sustainability, design-based learning, and digital tools. His teaching includes courses like Introduction to Engineering A, Sustainable Technology and Community Development, and Introduction to Environmental Engineering. Past roles include teaching separation processes, thermodynamics, and chemical engineering design projects.

Research Focus: Current projects involve techno-economic analysis for net-zero processes in food/energy systems, waste-to-value process modeling, and sustainable food processing technologies. His work integrates material flow analysis and environmental impact reduction strategies.
