Adel Bibi

Adel Bibi is a Senior Researcher and Junior Research Fellow at the University of Oxford's Department of Engineering Science. His research focuses on fundamental problems in computer vision, machine learning, and optimization.

Recent work addresses critical challenges in AI safety including adversarial robustness, model interpretability, and machine unlearning. His publications focus on developing certifiable methods for uncertainty calibration, mitigating risks in large language models, and creating intrinsically interpretable architectures.

Dr. Bibi has been recognized with multiple outstanding reviewer awards at top computer vision and machine learning conferences. He received the Best Paper Award at the Optimization and Big Data conference and serves as Area Chair for AAAI. His research contributes to building more reliable and transparent AI systems.
