Adebisi Adewole

Dr. Adebisi Adewole is a Lecturer and Director of the Centre for African Research on Enterprise and Economic Development (CAREED) at the University of the West of Scotland. He holds a PhD from the University of the Arts London, specialising in supply chain relationships in the UK clothing industry. His academic qualifications include Higher Diploma in Mass Communication, LLB (Hons), MA Diplomatic Studies, and MBA. Adewole has held roles at London Metropolitan University and as visiting lecturer at the University of Westminster and University of East London.
His research focuses on logistics and global value chains, circular economy, humanitarian logistics, and African economic development. He has co-edited books on African logistics and structural transformation. Adewole is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK), Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and holds multiple professional affiliations. His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to poverty reduction and sustainable growth.
