Adarsh Arora

Adarsh Arora is an Industry Professor and Coleman Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the College of Computing, Illinois Institute of Technology. He holds leadership roles in academia and industry, including President of TiE Midwest and CEO of Reputada and Lisle Technology Partners. His expertise spans technology entrepreneurship, start-up development, and innovation strategy.

• Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science (Northwestern University)

Dr. Arora's research interests focus on entrepreneurial leadership, technology commercialization, and the intersection of computer science with business strategy. He has founded and led multiple successful startups, including Athena Security (acquired by SolarWinds) and Peritus Software Services. His work in relational database systems is cited in academic textbooks.

Awardee of the 2004 Chicago Software Association's Annual City Lights Award, he actively mentors CEOs through the Junto Institute and advises the Chicago Mayor's Council on Technology. His board memberships include the Farley Center for Entrepreneurship at Northwestern and IIT's School of Applied Technology.
