Prof. Dr. Adam Łajtar holds the Chair of Epigraphy and Papyrology at the University of Warsaw, with a focus on Eastern Mediterranean inscriptions from Hellenistic to medieval periods. His research spans Graeco-Roman Egypt (particularly religious practices) and Christian Nubia, emphasizing textual analysis of wall inscriptions, papyri, and artifacts.
