Adam Wittek is a Professor and Deputy Director of the Intelligent Systems for Medicine Laboratory at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Western Australia. He also serves as Mechanical Engineering Programme Chair. His research focuses on computational biomechanics, biomedical engineering, and impact injury analysis, with notable contributions to surgical simulation, abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) modeling, and computational grid optimization.
