Adam Wanekaya

Dr. Adam Wanekaya serves as a Professor and Department Head in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Missouri State University. His research focuses on the fabrication, modification, characterization, and application of nanoscale materials, with specific applications in chemical sensing, biomedical sensing, and environmental remediation of heavy metals and toxins. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from the State University of New York, Binghamton, and M.S. and B.S. degrees in Chemistry from the University of Nairobi.
