Professor Adam Soule is a faculty member in the Department of Marine Geology and Geophysics at the University of Rhode Island's Graduate School of Oceanography. He also serves as the Executive Director of the NOAA-funded Ocean Exploration Cooperative Institute, a collaborative effort involving the Ocean Exploration Trust, URI GSO, WHOI, University of New Hampshire, and University of Southern Mississippi.
