Adam Scott

Adam Scott is a part-time Lecturer in Interactive Audio at Glasgow School of Art (GSA), teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. His expertise spans Interactive Audio, Creative Coding, Music, and the Sociology of Creative Practice. He emphasizes self-directed learning and critical process analysis in student projects.

Education: Bachelors in Jazz Performance from Leeds College of Music, followed by an MLitt in Popular Music Studies from the University of Glasgow.

Research interests include interdisciplinary creative practices, blending technological innovation with artistic expression. His freelance work as a musician and collaborations on sound installations with artist Raydale Dower highlight his experimental approach to audio design.

Prior to academia, Scott spent seven years as a software developer specializing in Java and C#.
