Adam Olczyk is an Assistant Professor at SGH Warsaw School of Economics, affiliated with the Collegium of Socio-Economics and the Department of Philosophy. He serves as both a research and teaching assistant professor while working as a legal counsel specializing in tax law.
Dr. Olczyk graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Lodz and also holds a degree in Philosophy from the same institution. He received his doctoral degree in social sciences, in the discipline of legal sciences, in 2019 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Marek Zirk-Sadowski.
His research focuses on tax law, administrative proceedings, and the philosophical foundations of legal theory. Dr. Olczyk has authored numerous publications in these fields, including the book "Marxism, Christianity and Human Rights. The philosophy of Leszek Kolakowski". His expertise encompasses tax court proceedings, administrative court proceedings, and fiscal inspections.
As Secretary of the editorial board of the scientific journal "CASP Analyses and Studies" and a member of the Center for Analysis and Fiscal Studies (CASP) team, Dr. Olczyk contributes significantly to academic discourse in his field. His prior association with the Supreme Administrative Court in Warsaw for many years provides practical grounding for his academic work in administrative law.
